Because 2021 has been so "tricky", trunk-or-treating is a safe alternative to the normal trick-or-treating. It is also a great way to bring communities together. People of all ages are able to take part in all of the fun that trunk-or-treating has to offer. From dressing in costumes, decorating cars, to Halloween-themed foods, there is something for everyone! Listed below are a few local businesses hosting a trunk-or-treat this year on Saturday, October 30th!
Unity in the Community 8 Rebirth
918 Exeter Ave, West Pittston PA, 18643
3-8 p.m. Halloween/Spiritual themed vendor show packed with crystals, tarot card reader, and much more! Food vendors and face paint artist available for all the little boo-y's and ghouls.
300 Lackawanna Ave, Scranton PA 18503
11:30 a.m.- 5:30 p.m. Those dressed in costume will receive $2 off their admission and kids can bring their candy bags and trick or treat throughout the aquarium.
20 State Route 11, Hunlock Creek, PA 18621
2-4 p.m. 40+ registered cars. Prizes for the best decorated trunk and best costume will be given out. The snack bar will be open for the entire event!
1429 Sans Souci Pkwy, Wilkes-Barre, PA 18706
11 a.m.- 3p.m. Free admission to the public. Will include food & craft vendors, craft beer, pumpkin painting, costume contest, etc. There will be a buffet-style food station that you can purchase tickets for.
222 Wyoming Ave, Scranton, PA 18503
1-4 p.m. CaPAA's 2nd Annual Enchanted Trunk or Treat. Families, businesses, groups, and student organizations will line the 200 block of Wyoming Avenue to hand out candy and goodies.
