At Lewith & Freeman Real Estate, we're proud to recognize a group of our Realtors® who have gone above and beyond in their dedication to guiding Buyers throughout the NEPA real estate market with clarity, professionalism, and confidence. We're excited to introduce our Certified Buyer Ready agents: an internal certification designed to equip our Realtors® with the knowledge and tools needed to represent today's buyers at the highest standard.

What Is the Buyer Ready Certification?

This exclusive certification isn't just a title—it's a commitment. Our agents who earned the Certified Buyer Ready designation have demonstrated the ability to thoroughly walk clients through every step of the buying process. From the first showing to the final signature, these agents offer buyers a well-informed and supportive experience.

To earn this certification, agents must show expertise in several key areas:

  • Explaining the buying process from start to finish, including a clear understanding of the Consumer Notice and its role in protecting consumers.

  • Helping buyers understand the importance of Buyer Agency and representation, and how having an agent in your corner directly impacts your best interest throughout the transaction.

  • Educating buyers on the value of being financially prepared, including having a mortgage pre-approval in-hand before touring homes or submitting offers.

  • Explaining the historical roots of Buyer Agency, tracing back to its formalization in the 1990s and how it has empowered homebuyers ever since.

A New Era in Real Estate

In light of the national class-action lawsuit originating in Missouri, many questions have arisen regarding buyer representation and how real estate professionals are compensated. Our Certified Buyer Ready agents are equipped to explain what this legal shift means, why it happened, and (most importantly) how it ultimately benefits and protects today's homebuyers by reinforcing transparency and choice.

Why It Matters

At Lewith & Freeman, we know that buying a home is one of the most important financial decisions you may ever make. That's why we believe having a knowledgeable and prepared professional by your side makes all the difference.

Working with a Certified Buyer Ready Realtor® means you'll be guided by someone who understands your needs, advocates on your behalf, and brings clarity to an often complex process.

Because at Lewith & Freeman, buyer confidence starts with Realtor® excellence.
