The fall season is finally among us. The leaves are changing, temperature is colder, days are shorter, and the outdoor activities are endless! Autumn in Northeastern Pennsylvania is a great time of the year for some good ole family fun! Whether it is going to a pumpkin patch, harvest festival, or taking a scenic train ride, there is an activity available for everyone.

Halloween Light Show- Lakeland Orchard & Cidery

· Drive your car through the spooky haunted light scenes, which include ghosts, goblins, a haunted castle, trick-or-treaters, and a few new surprises! But don't be too scared; the Halloween Light Show is sure to please all ages. After the show, stop in at the retail tent for some classic fall goodies or the Cider Garden for a glass of hard cider and a fresh burger, and try your hand at Axe Throwing! Don't miss this one-of-a-kind show!

Take a trip on a vintage electric trolley car! The scenic route follows a portion of the former Lackawanna & Wyoming Valley (Laurel Line) Railroad right-of-way as it parallels Roaring Brook proceeds past the Historic Iron Furnaces and continues through the Crown Avenue Tunnel, at 4747 feet long, one of the longest interurban tunnels ever built. Proceed to PNC Field, home of the SWB RailRiders, on Montage Mountain, where you'll prepare for your return ride back to the Trolley Museum. After your excursion, head into the museum and explore the vintage trolleys and gift shop!

Craft Fair and Home Showcase

Annual Craft Fair and Home Showcase sponsored by the Holy Cross High School Parent Club. Featuring over 80 vendors displaying products such as ceramics, baked goods, candles, home decor, jewelry, wreaths, woodworking, and much more. Basket raffle, door prizes, and homemade food available. Proceeds benefit student programs and local charities.
