John brings a diverse background to real estate. A Back Mountain native, John became interested in real estate after seeing his father manage his investment properties over the years. When he was ready to take on a new endeavor, he was confident real estate was it. John always found helping others to be most rewarding and his unwavering dedication provides his clients with personalized service and proactive communication to help them achieve their goals – whether that’s buying, selling, or investing. 

John is a seasoned athlete who played baseball, basketball, and lit up the football stadiums across NEPA for many years before being recruited by the University of Pittsburgh to play football. As a four-year starter, John was honored to have his leadership skills recognized when he was selected as a Pittsburgh Panther Football Captain in his junior and senior seasons. At the University of Pittsburgh, he earned a Bachelor of the Arts degree in Administration of Justice and prior to, graduated from Dallas High School. 

He has been employed at Talen Energy for well over a decade and works as a Corrective Action Coordinator, a key point of contact to drive continuous improvement of matters related to nuclear and environmental safety. This role requires him to have a keen attention to detail, be an effective communicator as he works cross functionally, and quickly and successfully problem solve. 

In his free time, he enjoys working out, landscaping, fishing and spending quality time with his wife, Kristy, daughter, Carson, and rescue dogs, Maverick and Delaney. 

John’s a natural leader who brings passion, drive, resiliency, and a strong work ethic to Lewith & Freeman. He can be found servicing buyers and sellers alike in the areas of Shavertown, Dallas, Trucksville, Harvey’s Lake, Kingston, Forty-Fort and surrounding areas in Luzerne County.
