Kolbe and Kolbe windows, Atrium doors, cedar wood shakes compliment the original siding with Adirondack architectural enhancements providing an enticing exterior to the cozy interior. A state of the art "whisper quiet" oil furnace provides 4 zones of heat to hot water baseboard throughout the dwelling. A floor to ceiling wood burning fireplace made from Eagles Mere stone flanked by custom made bookcases and tin ceiling highlight the 3,392 sq. ft. of living space.

The breathtaking views of the mountains can be viewed from the large back deck, second floor porch, or expansive yard. Mature landscaping of rhododendrons, mountain laurels, ferns, shade trees and flower gardens enhance a large level fenced in lot consisting of nearly half an acre. In addition to the scenery, Eagles Mere is a beautiful historic village that offers fun activities for everyone.

The activities are endless. From shopping, eating, leisure activities, to museums, Eagles Mere has it all. Below are some of the local attractions for everyone to enjoy.

Eagles Mere Lake:

  • Fed by underground natural springs, the Eagles Mere Lake has always been at the center of life on the mountaintop. The lake is private making it a great location for relaxation. Swimmers, sun bathers, sailors, canoeists and fishermen have all found the lake a source of many great memories. Surrounding the lake is The Laurel Path: a path cut out of the woods in the 1800's and maintained every year to this day.
