3. Create a list of must-haves
It is helpful to be clear on what features you feel are an absolute necessity in your new home and which features are negotiable. This is information you definitely want to share with your Realtor.
4. Find your Realtor
This step in the process is crucial. A buyer’s agent is a professional that will represent you and your best interests throughout your entire real estate transaction. Take your time and be sure to do your research. Explore real estate agency websites and read Realtor’s reviews. Buying a home is quite possibly the largest purchase you will ever make. You want to find an experienced, reputable agent that you can trust.
5. Have fun looking at homes!
After you have found a Realtor that you trust, this can be a really fun part of the homebuying process. Remember to keep an open mind and enjoy imagining yourself in each of the homes you tour.
