What better way to celebrate #NationalWineandCheeseDay (July 25, 2018) than to visit a local winery! Honey Hole Winery opened its doors in November of 2017.

Honey Hole Winery is located at 2 Honey Hole Road in Drums and owned and operated by Pete Aiello.
It all started as Simply Homebrew in 2010, then a part-time business located on St. Johns Road. Soon, they moved to their current location on holey Hole Road, where they began expanding their product line.
At Simply Homebrew, visitors can take a class to make their own wine or beer. The class became incredibly popular and people soon wanted to buy what they were sampling in the store. This led Pete to open Honey Hole Winery next door to Simply Homebrew.
Honey Hole Winery offers everything from meads to varietal wine and unique fruit wines (think mango and coconut) to wine slushies!
We asked Pete what he was most excited for at the winery, and his response definitely got us excited!
I’m excited about everything—the winery is new and every day we are learning something," he said. "Our Wine Slushies are delicious and are a big hit for the summer, and we are now working on a few surprise wine flavors for the fall and upcoming holiday season."
Pete says that they wouldn’t be where they are today without the support from their customers, the community, and staff.
