It might even seem almost overwhelming with so many food choices, but don’t worry—we have your back (AND your belly) covered. If you’re looking for nearby restaurants in the Back Mountain, look no further. We’ve compiled some of the best local places to sit down and enjoy a nice meal (and maybe a nice drink, too).

American/Pub

While defining “American” cuisine is a challenge, it’s not so difficult finding good American food in the Back Mountain. And what's better than that? Finding good brews, too. Check out these places for good food and drinks:

The Beaumont Inn

The Beaumont Inn offers contemporary American style dining with a French influence. The restaurant is separate from the Inn which offers 10 rooms. Key highlights include the Beaumont botanical gardens where you can dine al fresco style and enjoy live music on the flagstone patio during the summer months. The food is locally grown, including produce from an on-site organic heirloom garden. The Beaumont Inn can be booked for private parties and events, too.

North Slope features a rotating selection of craft beers and ciders all brewed on site. Their menu also features cocktails, wine, and pub fare sourced from local farms. Trivia night is every Wednesday night at 7 and, during the summer, bands play on Thursdays. Catering and private on-site events are also available.
