Rhea Simms is Chairman of Lewith & Freeman Real Estate and a leader in Luzerne and Lackawanna county’s business communities.

A life long resident of NEPA, Rhea’s reputation for excellence in business, dedication to her community and steadfast support to the many volunteer and board position she holds is the foundation for her success.

Rhea is known for her ease at bringing people together for a greater good. When asked what she considered important in building a successful career Rhea offered, “Communication, the ability to listen, evaluate and respond are essential skills when helping clients buy and sell real estate.” Another attribute Rhea acknowledges as crucial in business is change and adaptability. Rhea noted, “Lewith & Freeman embraces innovation and change to ensure our tools, marketing and services continue to meet the needs of our Realtor professionals and clients.”

Rhea is a graduate of Wilkes University. Rhea’s extensive community involvement includes the following positions: Past Director of Highmark, Past Chairman of the Board of Earth Conservancy, Former Chairman of the Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce, Past Director, Mellon Bank NE Region, Past Director of United Way, Former Director of Kings College, Past Director for Blue Cross of Northeast Pennsylvania and the Children’s Service Center.

Rhea was recently awarded an Honorary Doctorate from Kings College.

Rhea is a member and Past President of the Greater Wilkes-Barre Association of Realtors, the Greater Scranton Association of Realtors, the National Association of Realtors and the Pennsylvania Association of Realtors. She earned her designations as an accredited Buyer Agent (ABR) and as a Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager (CRB). She is also licensed as a Broker Appraiser and a member of the National Association of Real Estate Appraisers.
